Terms and Conditions 

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your attendance at and/or participation in Globe Business Leads (GBL) events (collectively referred to as “GBL Event” or “Event”). By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms, forming a legal contract between you and Globe Business Events (GBL). If you register on behalf of another individual, you are responsible for ensuring that the attendee is aware of and accepts these terms.

 

1. Event Admission

1.1 Registration Process: Registrations are accepted only through the electronic events management system available on the GBL website. Confirmation of your registration will be sent via email within five business days of completing the registration process. Ensure that all provided information is accurate and up-to-date. GBL is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or outdated information.

1.2 Costs: Your registration includes admission to the Event, access to scheduled sessions, and certain Event materials as specified in the Event description. All other costs, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, meals, and personal expenses, are your responsibility. It is advisable to check visa requirements with your local embassy or consulate well in advance to ensure timely travel arrangements.

1.3 Non-Professional Attendees: In accordance with the Code of Ethical Business Practice, GBL cannot facilitate or cover expenses for spouses, guests, or any non-professional attendees. Non-professional attendees are not permitted at any part of the Event, including social gatherings and networking sessions.

1.4 Registration Limitations: Each individual must register separately; multiple registrations for a single individual are not allowed. Badges provided at the Event are non-transferable and must not be shared or reproduced. If your badge is lost or stolen, report it immediately to the Event registration desk. Replacements may incur a fee, which will be communicated at the time of replacement.

1.5 Communication Consent: By registering, you consent to receive communications regarding the Event and other GBL events. These communications may include updates, promotional materials, and follow-up surveys. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email or by contacting GBL directly.

1.6 Data Collection: GBL collects personal data during the registration process, which may include your name, contact information, professional details, and payment information. This data is used for event-related communications, logistical arrangements, and to improve the Event experience. Your data may be shared with third-party service providers involved in organizing the Event, such as venue operators and catering companies. 1.7 Code of Conduct: All attendees must behave professionally and treat each other with respect throughout the Event. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. GBL reserves the right to remove any attendee violating this code of conduct without a refund and may take additional actions, including contacting local authorities if necessary.

 

2. Meetings

2.1 Attendee-Initiated Meetings: Attendees have the ability to request meetings with Exhibitors through the website's meeting management system or contacting GBL event teams before the event. All meeting requests must be made through GBL event teams to ensure proper scheduling and coordination.

2.2 Exhibitor-Initiated Meetings: Exhibitors may request meetings with Attendees, and other Exhibitors through the website's meeting management system or contacting GBL event teams before the event. 2.3 Meeting Confirmations: Meeting requests are subject to the acceptance of the invitee. GBL is not responsible for the success, quality, or outcome of meetings arranged through the system. Attendees are encouraged to confirm details and prepare adequately for each meeting.

2.4 Meeting Conduct: All parties involved in meetings are expected to conduct themselves professionally and courteously. GBL reserves the right to intervene or cancel meetings if complaints of inappropriate behavior are received.

 

3. Fees

3.1 Payment Terms: Fees are due upon registration and are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. Payment can be made using the methods indicated on the registration page, which may include credit card, bank transfer, or other electronic payment methods. Insufficient or declined payments may result in denial of admission until full payment is received.

3.2 Taxes: Registration fees may be subject to sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or other applicable taxes, which will be charged in addition to the fees. Attendees are responsible for complying with local tax regulations.

3.3 Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • 10 weeks prior to the Event: Full refund of the registration/ Exhibition fee.
  • 8 weeks prior to the Event: 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
  • Less than 4 weeks prior to the Event: No refunds will be issued.
  • No-shows: No refund will be provided for no-shows.
  • Substitutions: Substitutions of attendees are allowed at GBL’s discretion, subject to availability and provided that the substitute attendee meets all eligibility requirements for the Event.

 

4. Privacy Policy

Globe Business Events (GBL) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you register for and participate in our events. By registering for an event or using our services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

4.3 Disclosure of Your Information

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who assist us in organizing events, processing payments, delivering services, and conducting data analysis.
  • Event Sponsors and Partners: We may share your information with event sponsors and partners for marketing and networking purposes.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, such as subpoenas, court orders, or government regulations.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

Attendees may take notes and photos for personal use only. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of event materials without prior written permission from GBL is strictly prohibited.

5.2 Media Release: By registering, you grant GBL the right to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness during the event and to use such media for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without further approval or compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of your likeness in brochures, websites, and social media.

 

6. GBL Rights

6.1 Event Changes: GBL reserves the right to change the Event format, location, date, or duration due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. Attendees will be notified of such changes as soon as possible, and GBL will make reasonable efforts to accommodate attendees' needs.

6.2 Participant Minimums: GBL will determine the minimum number of participants required for the Event to proceed. If this number is not met, GBL may cancel or reschedule the Event. Attendees will be offered a full refund or the option to attend the rescheduled Event.

6.3 Removal Rights: GBL reserves the right to request the removal of any attendee whose behavior disrupts the Event or hinders the enjoyment of other attendees. This includes, but is not limited to, disruptive behavior during sessions, inappropriate conduct during meetings, and violation of the Event's code of conduct.

 

7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Warranties: GBL provides no warranties and/or representations about the suitability of the information provided to you as part of the Service, including but not limited to any information published on this web site or on the linked web sites, for any purpose. All such information is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind. The Organisers hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to this information, including all implied warranties and conditions of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title and Intellectual Property Rights non-infringement.

7.2 Liability Limitations: GBL and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Event, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption. Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings and safety at the Event.

7.3 Maximum Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GBL and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. The maximum liability of GBL for any claims related to this Agreement is limited to the amount paid by you to attend/exhibit the Event.

7.4 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GBL, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your registration or participation in the Event, including but not limited to third-party intellectual property claims.

 

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Definition: GBL is not liable for any loss or damages resulting from events beyond its control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or public health emergencies. If the Event is postponed, attendees may opt to attend the rescheduled Event or receive a credit towards future events organized by GBL.

8.2 Examples of Force Majeure: Events beyond GBL ’s control includes, but are not limited to, natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, or hurricanes), war, civil disorder, government regulations or restrictions, and pandemics.

 

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.

9.2 Language: GBL may provide translations of these terms for convenience. However, the English version of these Terms and Conditions governs, and in the event of a conflict between translations, the English version prevails.

 

By registering for the GBL Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
